Was this the least organized and most overwhelming bookstore I’ve ever been in? Yes. Did I still kind of love it? Also yes. Nestled a block behind St. Louis Cathedral, this bookshop is in the heart of the French Quarter. Arcadian is filled to the brim with books lining the walls and stacked in every possible spot. Among the chaos (which is more organized than it seems), there are some real hidden treasures and rare books. This is a must see spot just moments away from some iconic spots so be sure to stop in!
