Coyote vs. Acme (2026)

A mashup of a real world setting and human actors with the Looney Tunes cartoon characters you know and love.

Laura’s Rating: 4.5/5 Stars

Plot: After years of injuries and failed plots caused by Acme Corporation gadgets, Wile E. Coyote decides he is going to sue the company for damages. Small stakes injury lawyer Kevin Avery is soon entangled in a legal battle much larger than he ever imagined.

Opinion: This movie was just so FUN! Like I laughed and smiled the whole time at both the jokes and the general hijinks. There was also heart to the film, grounding the silliness in characters you actually cared about and wanted to succeed.

The Looney Tunes characters are silly and entertaining as always and interact well with their human counterparts in the movie. It was fun to see the real and cartoon worlds collide and coexist. Growing up watching the cartoons gave me a sense of nostalgia seeing these familiar characters on the screen again in a new and fresh storyline.

On a slightly more serious note, the film feels incredibly relevant in the time of huge company mergers between streaming services, Amazon dominance, and huge AI companies. Do with that what you will.

Entertaining, nostalgic, and timely? CINEMA. I’d definitely recommend Coyote vs Acme.
