Plot: Grace is getting married to the man of her dreams on his family’s luxurious estate. She expects a cool reception from her wealthy new in-laws, but instead they want to play a game on her wedding night. Only, the stakes are life and death.

Analysis: The movie is pretty fast paced, not dwelling too long on unnecessary details in the setup before getting to the action. I like Grace, who is tough, but acts realistic for this kind of film. 

There’s some dark comedy that helps relieve the tension of the high-stakes plot. The eat-the-rich theme is obvious but done in an entertaining and (dare I say) fun way. 

Is this super high quality? Nah. Is it an entertaining horror fit into a tight 95 minutes? Yes. Ready or Not is a decent horror movie to stream on your couch with some popcorn.
