The Vacancy in Room 10 by Seraphina Nova Glass (2024)

Laura’s Rating: 3.5/5 Stars

Plot: Anna’s husband, Henry, calls her with a confession, but winds up dead before she can ask any questions. Now she’s at Henry’s apartment that he rented as an art studio trying to make sense of what happened. But the seedy complex is filled with scandal and gossip and possibly danger.

Analysis: This was an easy read to get into, with interesting characters and a rich setting of the crusty motel turned apartment complex. There were multiple storylines that kept me guessing with interactions between the different plots.

The end was pretty satisfying so despite nothing super standout, I’d call this a solid thriller.
