Of the movies I had never seen before, here are the best and worst films I watched in 2025:

Best Movies 2025

1. Ford v Ferrari (4.5/5 Stars)

2. Sinners (4.5 Stars)

3. Godzilla Minus One (4.5 Stars)

4. Materialists (4.5 Stars)

5. Gladiator II (4.5 Stars)

Some great movies this year! I had exactly 5 movies at 4.5 stars and while they span genres, I’d recommend them all.

Worst Movies of 2025

1. Eden Lake (1/5 Stars)

2. Cabaret (1.5 Stars)

3. Blue Velvet (1.5 Stars)

4. The Lost World (2 Stars)

5. The Substance (2.5 Stars)

Eden Lake was trash. Cabaret was deeply disappointing. The Substance had so much potential and then wrecked it at the end.
