Movie Review:

Freakier Friday (2025)

Laura’s Rating: 4/5 Stars

The long awaited sequel to 2003’s Freaky Friday did not disappoint. There was the perfect balance of nostalgia and callbacks woven into a story that felt familiar but fresh. The family dynamics are still center stage, but this time Anna is the one getting married and Tess is navigating being a grandma.

The script was clever and pretty funny, with a heartwarming closure. The teenage actresses playing Anna’s daughter and stepdaughter were only okay in my opinion, but Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis absolutely crush their roles. I highly recommend for a fun movie night!
