Movie Review:

Mean Girls (2004)

4.5/5 Stars

Mean Girls has become a pop culture touchpoint with quotable lines, iconic fashion, and hilarious jokes.

Homeschooled Cady Heron returns to the US from Africa and must navigate the unknown world of high school cliques. After her new friends convince her to infiltrate the cool girl group known as “The Plastics”, the lines between friendship and sabotage become blurred.

This movie is laugh out loud funny, even on your 2nd, 3rd, or 10th watch. It functions as a satiric time capsule of the early 2000s. There’s tons of well-known references and even a wholesome message by the end.

Grab your friends, wear some pink, and go watch Mean Girls (again).
